SibaBiba does everything it can to deliver safe, high-quality products. Despite our care in purchasing, selecting and checking products, it is important that the consumer uses and maintains the product in a correct, safe and careful manner.
1. The user's own responsibility
The consumer is responsible for the use, installation, assembly and maintenance of the product. SibaBiba cannot be held liable for damage arising from:
- incorrect, unsafe or careless use;
- incorrect connection, installation or assembly;
- ignoring warnings or instructions;
- use in conditions for which the product is not intended;
- use by children without supervision;
- use of non-original accessories, batteries or parts.
2. Electrical products and batteries
For products that run on electricity, USB, adapters or batteries:
- use only certified adapters or batteries;
- never charge products while covered or unattended;
- do not use damaged cables or power banks;
- stop use immediately in case of smoke, smell, heat or abnormalities.
Damage due to incorrect use (fire, short circuit, melting, overheating) does not fall under SibaBiba's liability.
3. Maintenance and material care
For clothing, accessories and lifestyle products:
- always follow the washing and care instructions on the label or the product page;
- take into account possible colour transfer during the first washes, especially with dark fabrics;
- avoid prolonged contact with perfume, lotions and other products that can affect materials;
- store products in a dry place to preserve quality.
4. Sensitive skin and materials
Some people may react sensitively to certain materials. Check the material description on the product page if you have a known sensitivity or allergy. Stop using in case of irritation and consult a doctor if necessary.
5. Product use by children
Product-specific safety recommendations (such as ages) must be strictly followed. SibaBiba is not liable for accidents, injuries or damage that occur when:
- a product is used by a child younger than advised;
- the product is not used under adult supervision;
- parts are swallowed or used incorrectly.
6. External damage factors
SibaBiba is not liable for damage to:
- floors, walls, furniture, textiles, vehicles or property;
- appliances or sockets due to incorrect use;
- damage caused by moisture, water or heat.
7. Compliance with manuals
The consumer is obliged to follow any supplied instructions, warnings and safety guidelines. If these are not followed, any form of liability lapses.
8. Product responsibility of supplier or manufacturer
For technical, electronic or safety-related defects that fall under product liability (EU directive), the manufacturer or supplier is ultimately responsible. SibaBiba acts solely as a reseller and cannot be held liable for manufacturing faults or design defects.
